Cities from Space

This color negative image of a low level aerial photograph of rodent mounds and the trails between them appears as a false color night satellite image of a large urban cityscape with its darkened highways and arteries and the brightly lit buildings. The inability to distinguish between between the a high altitude view of a cityscape and a low altitude view of rodent trails results from the lack of scale in the photograph. Or people and rodents have much more in common than was previously suspected.
